How we work

Go in. Find it.
Build it. Run it.

No discovery phase that bills for three months and produces a PDF. We get inside the business, find the thing that's actually costing you, and start building, usually within the first two weeks.

Step 01

Go in

We sit inside the business and watch how the work actually happens, not how the org chart says it does. Who touches what. Where things wait. Which spreadsheet everyone is quietly terrified of.

This is short and it is not billed as a strategy engagement. Usually a few conversations and a look at whatever you're using today.

Step 02

Find the drag

Then we tell you what we found, including the parts you won't enjoy hearing. The approval that takes four days. The channel nobody has time to feed. The three people maintaining the same list in different files.

We'll also tell you when the answer isn't a build. If an off-the-shelf tool solves it for $40 a month, that's the recommendation. It costs us one project and earns the next three.

Step 03

Build it

Software, automation, content: whatever the answer turned out to be. You see it weekly in the actual thing, not in mockups, and you can redirect us at any point because nothing is far enough down the road to be expensive to change.

We work in short cycles against a real deployment. The first usable version lands early and gets better, rather than everything arriving at once at the end.

Step 04

Run it

Software isn't finished, it's live. We keep it running: monitoring, fixes, platform changes, new features as you grow. Or we hand you the keys, the code and the documentation and step back entirely.

Either is fine. What we won't do is build you something you can't leave.

The measure of the job isn't whether we shipped. It's whether the thing that was slowing you down is still slowing you down.

Things worth saying up front

  1. You own everything Code, accounts, domains, data and infrastructure, all in your name from day one. No licence, no hostage situation, no "platform fee" to keep your own tool running.
  2. The people you meet are the people who build it We're small and senior on purpose. Nothing gets sold by one person and handed to a junior team you've never spoken to.
  3. We'd rather scope small and extend A first build that lands in six weeks tells us more than a plan that predicts six months. Almost every project we've done has grown from something deliberately narrow.
  4. We say no If we're not the right people, or the budget won't produce something we'd put our name on, we'll say so on the first call and point you at who can.

Let's go

Tell us what's slowing you down.

The first call is a conversation, not a pitch. If we can't help, we'll say so, and usually point you at who can.
